This policy explains how StreetHello handles personal information when you visit the public streethello.com website. StreetHello is responsible for the personal information described here.
This policy applies only to the public website. It does not cover customer accounts, the distributor app or the delivery of marketing campaigns.
Information from your visit
When you browse, your device sends technical information needed to deliver the website, such as your IP address, browser details and the pages or files requested. Website server logs may also record the time of a request and the page that referred you.
We use technical information to provide the website, investigate faults and protect it against misuse. Our lawful basis for this is our legitimate interest in running a reliable, secure public website.
The ROI calculator processes the figures you enter in your browser. The calculator does not send those figures to StreetHello.
Saved target-area quotes
When you save a Quote, StreetHello stores the area you chose, a Quote reference and saved date, and any household and indicative price estimate that was available at that time. If an estimate was unavailable, the area is saved without household or price figures. No contact details or account are required.
Anyone with the link or the reference can view a saved Quote, and can pass either on to someone else. Share them only with people you choose. Contact details are never shown on a saved Quote.
Saved quotes and their links do not expire automatically. An authorised administrator can revoke access to a saved quote or delete it. You can ask StreetHello to delete a saved quote using the contact route in the rights section below.
Necessary session and security records keep your Quote session secure, prevent misuse and retry a save safely without creating duplicate quotes.
Consultation requests and messages
If you request a consultation, or ask StreetHello to contact you about a saved Quote, we store your name, the phone number and/or email address you give, for a consultation which of them you prefer us to use, any message you write and the time of the request. A request about a saved Quote is linked to that Quote.
If you send a message with the form on the Contact page, we store your name, your email address, any phone number you give, your message and the time you sent it. A message is kept apart from consultation requests and is not linked to a Quote.
We use these details only to respond to your request or message. Only StreetHello administrators can see them. They are never shown on a saved Quote or on the page its link opens, and we do not send automated emails.
We keep a request or message only for as long as we need it to respond, and then delete it. Requests and messages are deleted by hand, not automatically. You can ask us to delete one sooner using the contact route in the rights section below.
Cookies and your choices
Cookies are small files stored on your device. Similar technologies can also store or access information on it.
Necessary cookies support essential website functions, such as security or remembering a cookie choice. Where they are strictly necessary to provide a function you request, they do not require consent.
Optional cookies can help measure website use or support advertising. StreetHello will ask for your consent before using optional cookies or similar technologies. Any associated use of personal information will also rely on your consent.
Before optional cookies are used, you will be given information about their purposes, providers and duration, together with controls to accept, reject or choose by purpose. They will remain off unless you opt in. Continuing to browse does not give consent, and refusing optional cookies will not prevent access to the public website.
Where you have opted in, the cookie controls will let you change your choice or withdraw consent at any time, as easily as you gave it. Withdrawal stops future use based on that consent; it does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.

Sharing and keeping information
Providers that host and maintain the website may handle technical information to deliver those functions. Information may also be disclosed where the law requires it. Before optional tools share information with other providers, their details will be explained when we ask for consent.
We keep website technical information only for as long as needed to operate the website and investigate faults or security incidents. The relevant period depends on the purpose of the record, whether an incident remains unresolved and any legal obligation to preserve it. We then delete or anonymise it.
